thrustr:

toes to bar.

See, this picture is a good example of my toes-to-bar obstacle. This lady neatly folds nearly in half. She only has to bend her knees slightly and viola, they hit the bar. My legs take up a disproportionately large fraction of my total body length. So in order to do one of these, I have to put my knees in my armpits. Which is going to be extremely weird, awkward, and fun to do tomorrow for however long I have left in the 18 minute AMRAP after box jumps and push presses.

I don’t really try this… I blame a 35” inseam on a 5’5” frame. Which doesn’t make a ton of sense since I could’ve done this in my early twenties no problem. Okay…I blame the vortex burgers and booze.

We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.
Dr. Seuss (via thathotbutter)

It’s when you not only realize this, but embrace it that you find what you never knew you were looking for.
